As of June 2005, NorthWest Hazmat, Inc. has been approved by the Oregon DEQ to provide Asbestos Worker Training.
Either the full four day Abatement Worker class or the one day Asbestos Worker Refresher class, NorthWest Hazmat, Inc. will provide the training your workers need.
To complete this training, NorthWest Hazmat, Inc. has installed mock ups of different task an abatement worker will encounter, from glove bags to ceiling and floor scrapes.
Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and worker safety will be stressed in all classes. In addition, each worker will be fit tested and perform the hands on portion of the class in PPE they will use in the field.
